I have known John Choi for many years, and I worked with him on common sense gun safety legislation.  He's been an efffective City Attorney for St. Paul, building strong relationships with diverse communities in our city, and people like and trust him.  He's also experienced at running a large staff of attorneys which is great experience for the County Attorney.  Finally, John is not just about prosecuting people, he has really led on the issue of restorative justice and other ways to prevent crime and build communities.
